What is the best way to inspect a property located out of state before purchasing? How do I fund a reliable source to act as proxy for inspection? Is it better to make the trip to see it for myself?

The best way to inspect a property is to hire a property inspector and go through the property with said inspector yourself. It is always best to have boots on the ground, but if not, have reliable eyes on the ground you have known for years (family, friends, agent you've done business with in the past).
