2nd House - Advice Needed Michigan

N/A N/A
Posted

We have 2 houses in Michigan. The 1st one we bought around 6 years ago, lived there a while and then bought a new house about 3 years ago and moved into the 2nd house. We tried to sell the 1st house, but were unable to, so we rented it out. We lost our renter about 4 months ago and have not been able to pay the mortgage or sell the house.

My two questions are, if we lose the 1st house to the bank, will that effect our 2nd mortgage on the house we live in?

Aside from bad credit how else will that effect us?

Thanks so much for any information!
