Any recommendation on an affordable (or free) floor plan design software or website. User friendly as possible!
Whats everyone else out there using?
I've personally used Homestyler for designing basic floor plans which is a web based design software. You may also want to look into Floorplanner.
SketchUp has a browser version that's free. The pro-version is actually used by professional services like architects and contractors. You can use it to produce floor plans, renderings, walkthroughs, etc. I've been using it for a couple years and its the cheapest and most practical. Also, you can do the modeling in Rhinoceros 5.0 but this is more for form making and design modeling. I included the hyperlinks. Hope this helps!
I have one that I bought that I like pretty good, it's pretty intuitive and user friendly. I've used it to redesign floor plans on existing rentals that I have. Home Designer suite from Chief Architecture. I think I paid $100 for it.
Thanks everyone, I'll look into these suggestion.
