I’m exploring new housing investment models. Here’s information about an interesting one:
“The Dutch city of Eindhoven is to be the first in the world to have habitable homes made by a 3D printer, in an innovation its backers believe will revolutionise the construction industry.
Of the first five new houses to be put on the rental market next year, the smallest, with two bedrooms, has already attracted applications from 20 interested families just a week after images were made available.
Known as Project Milestone, the development is said by the Dutch construction company Van Wijnen to offer...”
Very cool, totally depends on the build costs and if you can get a city to permit you.
This is a topic that is very interesting to me. I'm wondering if there is more information on this topic on this site or not. They way I see it these 3d houses have the possibility to wreck the industry that this site is based on. This company
states it can build a 650sqm house for $2500. If as an industry we can build new for that price all existing units become very expensive.
