I think it would really help a lot of investors esepecially newbies like myself, but however I am not trying to rock the boat or do anything against policy. Is there any place that you could recommend

I have no problem with you talking about prepaid legal, but doing so just to sign people up under you is a problem. Why don't you let everyone know about the benefits of Prepaid Legal??? Why sign up with them as opposed to another service? (I have not worked with them - have heard many mixed thoughts - some great - some not so great).

Tell us more.

I will do just that thank you for the opportunity!

I've read about Prepaid legal, and have heard good things, but it seems that everywhere I looed online, people were bashing the service. I know they are a publicly traded company, but I wish I had a better read about the company.

NewMoney, what are the negatives to the company? It's easy to tout positives, but it is a bit tougher to be straightforward with the down side. I hope to hear your take. Thanks for all the info, though.

True everyone has there diffrent opinions about anything or everthing in some cases. You could have two students in the same classroom but yet one recieve a A+ and the other an F. Why is that? The both recieved the same information. Just as well in prepaid legal or any other adventure you decide to take. I don't have anything bad to say about prepaid legal if I did I would. Through prepaid legal I was able to get my child support payments from 600 to 250.00 a month. I was able to ask as many questions for any situation without any outrageous cost. But not just that I recieve professional customer friendly service. My call backs where in a prompt and timely manner. The service is very much needed and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Everyone, small to large, should know about Pre-Paid Legal.

I believe the number one stigma PPL has hanging over its head is that it is a network marketing company (MLM).

To some, that is the "touch of death".

Is that good or bad ?

LOL...another good or bad question...

I'm not touching this one as it could turn into the neverending thread....

Is that good or bad ?

I've investigated joining PPl a few times over the years and decided that like a lot of other things it's not for me. I considered it way overpriced for what I would receive. I think many people (particularly in REI) have an unnatural fear of being sued, kind of like the fear of dying in a commercial airliner crash. This fear is fed by politicians beating the drum of "lawsuit abuse" and "dirty trial lawyers".

Keep in mind that much of this fearmongering is done by Republican Politicians trying to "de-fund" the Democratic Party by reducing the income of the American Trial Lawyers Association.

If you run your business in an ethical, BUSINESS-LIKE manner your odds of getting involved in a lawsuit are pretty darn slim.

I would suggest that a much better investment would be to explore taking a few BUSINESS AND CONTRACT LAW classes at your local University, and supplement that with a REAL ESTATE LAW class that's in conformance with the Continuing and Professional Education standard for RE Agents in your state.

The purposes of these classes is NOT to turn you into a lawyer, but it's like the Law classes generally taken by Business majors and MBA candidates in Universities; to teach you WHEN TO CALL A LAWYER.
