Switch Property Manager when buying a property

Hi all, I was wondering what happens if I switch Property Manager when buying a property already rented?

do I have to pay the current property manager company to transfer the lease to the new property manager company at closing or the seller needs to pay for any cancellation since I am choosing my preferred property manager?
