Does anyone have any experience with or know anyone that's completed the Real Estate Investing Certificate from Harvard's extension school? Is it worthwhile? Did you learn any good strategies or get additional tools beyond what's here on BP? How does it compare to other paid REI education like Renatus, Rich Dad, or FortuneBuilders?
Personally I doubt that 10 years down the road much of what they will have told you will make any difference in your net worth.
To me it seems more like something someone who wants to work for a REIT might be interested in (yet still even then it seems like mostly useless on the job knowledge, just like most colleges >Sell<).
It seems to me that the $12,000+ (and the time and energy) would be better applied to making an actual investment vs. paying for very broad over view of a few aspects of this.
Just my opinion on this.
