What should be the first I should do to get started in real estate? My goal is to buy and flip houses and make passive income by renting it out for other people. I’m only 22 with and not sure where to start.
@Adrian Olivarez I would find a good real estate agent in the areas you want to invest in. Good agents already have most of the connections you'll need along the way and they should know the markets. I work with several agents in different cities around my home base and they keep me pretty well informed. Just my take I'm sure other BP members will have good advice as well. Good Luck!
BP is a good place to learn new things and glad you find the right place! Good luck!
@Adrian Olivarez educate yourself as much as you can!!!
@Marlon Johnson would you recommend any good real estate books?
@Adrian Olivarez How to invest in real estate by Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner was specifically written for beginners. It's really good with a lot of info so it's a good place to start. As @Melba Chambers said educate yourself. Read books, listen to podcasts, watch webinars learn as much as you can!
