Where should a Newbie from NYC start investing in rental properties? New Jersey? PA? Connecticut? Upstate NY? Which place is landlord friendly? I'm looking to start in SFH or hopefully a multifamily. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Leonardo Carrasco

how are you. It all boils down to what you can afford mortgage wise. How much liquid assets are you working with, Credit, DTI buying power - this will determine your buy in capacity whether it is a house hack or brrrr strategy.
