Being able to manage over a 1,000 properties

I was wondering how some are having over a thousand rental properties and are able to manage them all, do they just end up hiring people to help them manage them all?

 Do you have 1000 doors? If not then worry more about getting 1000 doors than how to manage 1000 doors. Managing 1000 doors is far easier than acquiring 1000 doors.
