Hi guys, Like the title says I have 100k in my savings should I invest in rental property or invest it into buying a new home?

You can certainly do both. I would take a portion of the cash and look into passive investing in multifamily deals, and another portion into purchasing a new home. This diversifies your investments and if eventually you rent out your primary residence, then you have multiple streams of income.
