Auction.com and Off Market Deals ?

Question

In the past few years I’ve been able to find many deals over the the MLS, but now with market being so competitive it’s difficult to find a deal that works for me in my area.

I’m looking for alternative solutions.

Has anyone used Auction.com ? What kind of success have you had ?

Where do  you all  recommend I find deals outside of using the MLS sites?

I’m invest in the south jersey/Philadelphia area? Thank you in advance

@Kyle Hines I don't mean to sound like a downer but I was not a fan of driving dollars. It took to much time and yielded little to no benefit to me. That's why I switched to bulk mailers.

Thank you @Amy Aziz for your advice. This was going to be my next option. I've been using Prop Stream to build a list and using the Deal Machine App to start driving for dollars as well.

My recommendation is to network as much as possible. Obtain your own list of wholesalers and make relationships with them. Anything on Auction.com is going to be most of everywhere else as well. Any major database like that is just as useful as the MLS. All public record. However if you want deals I would look to wholesalers, or directly talk to sellers your self. Obtain lists from your local tital company and look for people most likely to sell and text or call them up! Thats how I find my deals

Auction.com are all properties listed on the MLS as well, they are just REOs, so you won't find anything new there. You have to work with wholesalers and market for your own deals off-market to get your own lead flow if you want to scale up your volume. We mail 24 zip codes in NJ now and are always checking and/or moving as necessary. You have to see which wholesalers have good numbers and good deals and which are fake and also to see how they work. If they run cattle calls you won't win those deals either, it will be just like the MLS.
