How much cash do I need?

I’m in my mid 20’s and I’m wondering how much cash you think would be ideal for someone to have as a good base for retiring off passive cash flow from real estate investing?

I guess another way to put it, how much cash do you think someone would need to do enough real estate investments to live off the cash flow?
