Do Property Taxes weigh heavy when thinking about location

Hi, I'm at the very beginning of real estate investing, meaning I'm learning as much as I can while I build up a good chunk of savings to begin. My question is, I live in IL and my biggest reason for not buying a house in the past is property taxes. How much do you weigh in property taxes when deciding on where to purchase your first flip? Or any property?
