What the best way to use my equity to buy rentals?
So I have a couple of properties that are free and clear. I would like to use the equity to buy more rental properties, but don't know if it is better to buy them out right and then try to get a mortgage on them to pay the equity line back off or just use a portion of the equity line for just the downpayment and mortgage the rest? I am also looking to invest in a different area than where I live.
