How was your FIRST QUARTER of 2021?

Here we are, three months into 2021!

We all could use some inspiration to keep us going. Please brag on yourself, even if you've taken baby steps. What extraordinary things did we ordinary people accomplish so far this year?

Here's mine...

I'm a real estate agent/investor in Philadelphia, PA. My most ambitious goal was to sell over $5 million worth of off-market real estate this year. I'm still on track with $1.5 million so far!

Let's get some inspiration from each other, whether you're a newbie in Dallas buying your 1st or an old head in New York buying your 100th.

Initial Goal: Close on first multifamily asset

Progress: Closed on a 228-unit, class A- multifamily deal in Houston, TX at the end of January (Was under contract in Q4 2020).

Next up: Goals ahead are to do a large multifamily deal per quarter!

My goal was to buy a 4-unit building to house hack, a duplex for a buy and hold, and buy a single family investment property in 2021 along with getting my license.

As of right now I am having difficulties finding an investment for myself but I am licensed and I'm helping several clients here in my market!

My goal was to buy a house hack, which I have under contract and will hopefully close this Tuesday if the appraiser accepts the repairs made by the seller. I also had a goal to buy larger multi families in Evansville, IN, which I have viewed a few and will be viewing a few more in the next few months. Overall the goals is to have 4-6 more buy and holds this year, I am on track. I have been focusing on saving and being ready when the right deal comes along.

@David Haynes Twin Cites area. My goal for 2021 was to save up money because we just bought a 6 unit property at the end of 2020.

I am failing at my goal because I got a call about a 5 unit property that I believe is a great deal. Now, instead of saving money I am under contract for that property. Ha!

I know the one.  I don't want to give it away but I think you bought it from a broker that starts with "B", your company name starts with "M" , and the address is 15xxx Li*****.   You paid just under $30mAm I right?

I imagine it's pretty difficult finding a four-unit that checks all the boxes for a personal residence. Not to mention all the competition for the few that are available. Good luck with those goals!
