What's timeline for Probate in Alabama?

Question

Interested in diversifying who I contact besides Tax Delinquents and Absentee owners. Just wanted to know if anyone had opinions about working Probates in terms of the timeline? Whether or not they're more profitable from an Avg. lead standpoint? And if they would recommend any good data providers for Probate (for Skiptracing) etc.? Any thoughts?

Only two providers that I know of sell probate leads. Try these two webpages:

I have no opinion on these two providers as I use a different source here in San Francisco to access probate leads.

Personally I think an investor should spend the least amount of money for public information..

As for a two week timeline for a probate with real estate to close, I have yet to experience it. Normally a probate usually closes from 8-12 months once the administration process has started and the complexity of each case.

@Jason Quero I would say 2 weeks. Depends on the situation, if there's no missing heirs or objections to the sale of the property it should be just waiting for the judges to sign off. But, if this was an estate with no heirs and it would need to be publicly marketed in the newspaper for 3 weeks to find missing heirs and if no one responds to that ad, the sale can continue and judge will sign off etc.
