Do I need a contractors liscense.
So I'm on my first rehab. They wouldn't let me get the permits I needed. In Jefferson parish, Louisiana, you either need a general contractor or sign a paper saying your going to live in the house for 2 years... I wouldn't mind just getting a contractors liscense, but you have to have insurance before you can even take the test. I'm struggling to find something that doesn't want me to pay several hundred a month. Does anyone know an affordable insurance for a general contractor?
