Hello BiggerPockets

My name is Trent Hicks, Im a newbie living in the Metro Detroit area. I have no money and no real estate experience but Im hoping to get started in investing by using my close friends and family as investors. However i dont know how to go about getting properties under contract when I dont have the funds myself. I here often that proof of funds is required to even see the property. What piece of information am I missing?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, your help is greatly appreciate?

Why would you put a property under contract if you have no money? If you truly want to be successful you should get your ducks in order before you make your first move. Setting yourself up for failure. Find a partner with money and use it as proof of funds.
