Leads- Is this legit?

This was posted in one of my FB groups:

"Hi i have Propstream. My Propstream leads will end automatically after 3 days. i Want Give propstream leads without any fees. free of cost. email me your target area."

When I emailed that I was interested, this was the reply:

"Hi thank you very much...

Yes i have leads in your Target area and i want give free of cost. Because my propstream leads will end automatically after 3 days..

Actually i am skip tracer also. i want give skip traced leads.

You only pay for skip tracing and leads price is nothing.

$0.05 per lead skip trace.  Leads are free of cost.

What types of leads you want and how many leads you want?"

After giving that information, they sent this:

"....This my Fiverr page link.

Please place order here of $50 for 1k Leads.

It's only skip tracing fees"

I'm new and have never used one of these sites, though I've looked into them. Is this legit??

@Maria Mejia Propstream is legit but you were speaking to someone from Pakistan or India, most likely. It's actually getting really annoying on Facebook because I get one of those messages like 5 times a day. They're either trying to sell Propstream records, cash buyer lists, or skip tracing. I don't think these guys realize that you can get a Propstream account yourself and get a much better deal.A Propstream account costs $99 and you can pull 10k records. This guy is trying to charge you $50 for 1k records (not leads). Leads are actually qualified individuals that indicate they want to sell. This guy is just pulling a list, that he likely gave to someone else, and sending it to you. I'd stay away and just get a Propstream account yourself. You could pay $50 more and get 10k records versus 1k records. Hope this helps, Maria.

PropStream is legit and worth the monthly subscription. Free PropStream leads that are then skip traced for $.05  is very unlikely to be legit. It’s against PropStream’s terms of service to re-sell their data. Plus it sounds like they are letting their subscription lapse in 3 days. I don’t know anyone personally that has had success with skip tracing from Fiverr
