How can you tell if a Private lender is legit...so many scammers out hear, and should you pay origination fees? Need help in finding hard money or private lenders

All hard money lenders charge fees. 


while we all charge fee's the scammers ask for fee's up front.. give you terms that are too good to be true and generally their websites have poor english or were written by someone who is not in the industry and uses terms and phrases real lenders would never use but rookie borrowers dont know the difference.
