Loans for mixed use properties

Hi BP 

I am looking to understand why a lot of lenders don't like to lend on mixed use properties. any one have any info to share?

@Mordy Chaimovitz...if you're referring to your typical residential lender, it's because the commercial/business aspect to a mixed-use property.  It's quirky and not always simple to underwrite.  Commercial lenders (I'm throwing this out very vaguely) usually will and should have no issue with mixed-use.
