Hard Money Lender in Cincinnati?

Hello,

I have found plenty of Hard Money Lenders that lend money for the state of Ohio, but I'm looking for people that work and are from Cincinnati. Any recommendations?

I would like to connect with Local people, but if nothing comes up I'll work with anyone out of state. I'm trying to keep it local.

@Kevin Galdamez - try local REIA events. It shouldn't take more than a couple to see who the most reputable HMLs in the Cincinnati area are. You'll be able to speak with local investors who have likely had experiences with 1 or more of them.

Hi Kevin, @Kevin GaldamezI manage our relationships with lenders and (if you have a deal under contract) I would be glad to run a search for you using our lender match program (in beta). There are advantages in using a truly local private money lender. For example, like drive by appraisals, faster funding and getting advice from a lender that is much more experienced and knowledgeable than yourself. They may be more expensive (at times) but it is not always just about the money. Having someone who is local with skin in the game should increase your odds of success.

If you really want to know what the pros are doing in your market, become friends with a local title company and ask them for referrals to the private money and hard money lenders that are doing lots of deals. It may surprise you.

Any reason specifically you need your lender to be local? My group uses the latest tech to close deals for borrowers remotely. We're in NYC. Let me know what you're working on, we're comfortable with Ohio.

Thank you for the PMs, I appreciate the support and information. My premise for finding someone in the Cincinnati area is primarily for the 1:1 relationship that can be built in a in-person setting. Resources are available nation wide and is about picking the right partnership, but sometimes that face to face helps. I like the idea of local REIA events. I will look into some BiggerPockets local events and go from there.

Hey Kevin,

Any specific reason why you would like to work with a hard money lender in Ohio? I can see why it could be a benefit for smaller loan amounts below $50,000, but other than that you could find most nationwide lenders to provide you with great terms.

I work with a few offering 100% rehab financing, and 90% LTC.
