5% Down Through Your LLC

Posted

Good Morning All,

Is it possible to obtain financing for a rental property, while only putting down 5%? Is it possible for this to be done through my LLC as well? (I understand that lending parameters change when using a business). Thank you for your response!

5% down on an investment property is not possible. If you were buying a 2-4 unit in your personal name and planned on living in one side, you might be able to get 10% down financing. For 30Y loans made to an LLC - 15%-25% down minimum depending on what type of lender you are using.
