Private money lending

Posted

Can anyone offer some advice on private money lending? I find good deals more often than I can afford to purchase them. I know that there are people out there who would be interested in investing with me, but I don’t know where to begin with private money lending. Ive  never been good at pitching people for money. The area I invest in produces good cash flow and good appreciation as well. Please offer any suggestions or wisdom! Thanks.

What market's do you invest in?

I stay in outer atlanta markets.

As a private lender myself the "pitch" is simply the deal and the borrower. If the numbers on the deal work, and the borrower has good credit and experience then I lend. If the numbers do not work, or the borrower does not seem likely to pay me back I don't. So, there is no magic formula or sell you have to put on. the numbers speak for themselves. Keep in lending is how I make a living so I love to lend money when I will likely get my money back with a return.

@Jay Hurst do you Private Lend in NC?

 Unfortunately, we do not.
