Mortgage Forbearance Over Vacancy

Hi BP Community, Has anyone gone through claiming mortgage forbearance over an empty unit you may have had until you filled it. I see my lender has the option of clamming mortgage forbearance and still staying in the home and not paying mortgage for a couple of months. than pay it back. i would half to ask if that is still possible on an Investment property
