Explaining Creative Finance to Sellers

Posted

Do you as an agent introduce creative finance options to sellers, or wait until asked? How do you frame it?

Heidi, I typically don’t lead with creative finance unless it clearly aligns with the seller’s situation. I first focus on their goals, timeline, price and introduce alternative options as solutions, not tactics. I frame it as additional ways to achieve their outcome if traditional financing becomes a barrier, so it feels consultative rather than pushy.
