If I currently lend $50-60k, is it wise to do it through an LLC? Or just in my personal name?? Asking for tax purposes

We're a larger lender, so we lend through an entity, but one thing I've found on here is sometimes people turn to the internet for answers when your CPA is the right person to talk to. One practice I've started to do when seeing a post on any platform with what seems to be good advice is to head to Linked In and other areas to see what the poster's actual background is. It's often unqualified know-it-alls offering the advice. Now...if you ever need advice on your actual lending practice, I can help there, but your question is one I would ask my CPA as opposed to the peanut gallery
