10 year bond index

It's easy to track on Yahoo finance. It's right on the top ticker for all the indexes. It's a common index used to track the cost of lots of collateralized debt obligations (mortgages, trust deeds, etc) from the big aggregators like Chase, Morgan Stanley, etc. Basically, it's the common medium term note that is used to package and resell real estate debt on the stock market.. Usually, when that goes up, rates go down and vice-versa.
