Should I contact more then one lender?

This is my first time in the process of buying a property. I contacted a lender (I'm in the process to know how much $); a realtor (investor) gave me the reference. Should I contact more then one lender?

@Jonathan Vizcarrondo You should contact at least 2-3 lenders. Fees, Rates, Over lays, Loan products will change between lenders. Besides, it does not cost you anything. And ALL mortgage related credit pulls within 30 days count as 1. So it will not affect your credit score.
