Marquette Bank. Chicago. Thoughts ?

Question

For the Chicago folks. Anybody have any dealing with these guys ?

Any thoughts about them...good bad or indifferent ?

They are a relative unknown and appear to have a most of their branches on the south and far south side but with a lending office on the Northside.

I am looking to do a refi with them on a 6 unit I have.  But since I know little about them I want to make sure I am getting in to bed with good people and a decent financial institution.

Any info or feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks

I do not know the answer to that. My deal is a MF held in an LLC.

My deal was for a 6 unit in a good northside area and I was only asking for 50% LTV.

They gave me a letter of intent. And I am in the process of preparing my paperwork for them to move forward. So far so good but still a little way to go.

I've spoken with one of their loan officers before, about financing a 4 unit, I didn't end up doing the deal, but they seemed good though if I remember right they might be a little conservative in their lending requirements.

I have a client using them for a 5 unit building on the north side. They have a 7 year arm that seems to be attractive for my client. So far so good..

I've known people who have worked there. It's a solid bank whose been in business quite some time. I never dealt with them myself but I've only heard good things.

Sorry for not having anything more substantial but i'm interested in what others think about them myself.
