Will a hard money lender do a small deal?

Are there real estate private lenders/hard money folks out there who will do a small deal? Like $5,000-$10,000.

Easiest thing to do would be go to a bank and get a signature loan. Hard money can get pricey, especially if they charge a per loan flat fee. Unless there is a lot for the private lender to gain they wouldnt waste the time.
