How to get a loan for remodeling
Hi all,
I'm brand new to Bigger Pockets and fairly new to investments. I recently bought a double in New Orleans, and live in one side and rent out the other. I have an unfinished first floor in my house that has just been acting as storage area and I'm thinking about building another rental unit down, there. I'll need a loan, though. Does anybody know where I should go for this type of loan and what sort of terms/rates should be expected?

First welcome to BiggerPockets! I am a investor/realtor in the Nola area. I would reach out to NOLA lending. They have a bunch of loans specific to New Orleans real estate. If they can’t help you let me know I have many other loan officers who could point you in the right direction. Good luck!
