Looking for advice for resources on Private Money Lenders

Steven Lee

Hello, I am looking for advice on securing a private money investor for a short term financing.  Target funding is $50K which will be used  The used as a bridge loan to purchase my childhood home I grew up in as a kid which is currently in probate due to a death in the family. I have been pre approved by a few traditional lenders for a refi once the home is out of the probate.  Thus my issue is obtaining the right resource to transfer the home out of probate and take ownership.  The home is located in Ohio with a value is $135K, and there is $50K debt attached so a good amount of equity.  Any advice on finding a private lender who would be open to this sort of transaction would be appreciated.  I am looking for a $50K short term loan paid in full back in 2-3 months.   Thank you

Hey Steven, best case scenario would be finding a private lender within your circles you could offer an above average return of say 8-10% for the short term use of their cash, or even better still borrowing from your own 401K or equivalent if you have one.

If none of those works. Here's a start to explore the plethora of funding options. All the best!
