Rental Mortgage on LLC

Looking to purchase a rental property. Years back i created an LLC but have not used it for anything other than the credit cards i have attached to it.

My question is, when purchasing a property does it make sense to try and purchase it under the LLC? Will I be anle to get a mortgage with the LLC? Or do I need to purchase in my name and eventually transfer it over?
