Where to get documents?

Bryant Wright
Posted

Hi everyone - first time poster here!

My girlfriend and I are in the process of purchasing our first rental property (!!!) which will be a “Subject To” deal in Iowa. We’ll be turning it into a long term rental and actually already have a prospective tenant who wants to move in June 1.

My question for you - Should we get our purchase agreement, tenant contracts and other docs from the real estate attorney that will be doing our closing? We’ve been so busy trying to find a deal that we never got our docs in order 😅

Any advice, resources or well wishes are appreciated - thanks in advance!
