creative finance paperwork

Hi im 22 looking to get into creative financing and get my first property kind of in the learning phase getting ready to start implementing. I get the concept and what not for the most part of creative finance the only thing I don't understand ,and if anyone is willing to explain. How exactly does the whole process work like paperwork and the  legal side of it. For Example lets say I get a deal from a home owner that works, Where would I go from there? Would I have to go talk to a lawyer and tell them the terms and the write up the contract and then we go to a title and escrow company. Im not to entirely sure what a title and escrow company do but those are like the main two that get thrown around a lot. (an attorney and a title company).Hopefully my question made some sense Any help would be appreciated.
