Help feel stuck, PITI went up $1.5K in a year

TDLR: Didn't know what homestead was, and house put in flood zone. PITI is now $1.5K more than what I'm able to rent the house for. What do I do? Hi all, I got my first house at 26 but am now under water. Not knowing what homestead was, I didn't apply for it. Next tax year comes around and my taxes are $1K higher/month than when I bought the house. The house also got rezoned into a flood zone, meaning flood insurance. I can't keep paying the 1.5K additional, and want to move for a higher paying job, but can't find a tenant that can pay the difference. What do I do? I feel stuck

Can you sell? That's a huge gap. Another thought is STR or MTR but big gap to narrow
