Subject to investing

Hello everyone, I am new to the Bigger Pockets community and have been super impressed and excited about it! I listened to the show 70 podcast and they talked about subject to investing. I was trying to do some research but can not find the qualifications to do such a deal if there are any. Do you have to have money upfront or great credit? I am just starting and have little money to invest. I would love any help that anyone could give on this subject. Best, Roel M.
