Northern NJ Lenders

I'm new to real estate investing in terms of going out on my own. I've worked for developers in the past, mostly on the construction side. I am looking to begin investing in Northern NJ, I am confident I have the experience and knowledge once I own my first property. I can renovate all standard building types (timber, steel, concrete) and run a project to a successful completion with no problem. My hope is this community of real estate investors can give me some ideas how to raise money, find lenders or private investors to get that first property. If anyone has had success with hard money lenders or private investors in NNJ and would like to pass their contact info along I would greatly appreciate it. My target areas are Jersey City, Bayonne, Union City, Harrison, and Newark. Focusing on low rise buildings (multi family residential, mix used, industrial) with close access to transportation to NYC. Thanks everyone! Stephen
