Finding a mentor is great, though it's important to ensure that you have the proper background. For example, me consulting an advisor on a stock transaction may not be beneficial if I have not at least looked through the company's 10-K report.

I read through your profile and recommend a few pointers. If you have not yet, consider reading through BiggerPockets' Ultimate Beginner's Guide. And since you're interested in flipping, I may recommend a small investment on J Scott's Book on Flipping Houses. Any investment in yourself will pay itself back better than an investment elsewhere.
