House hacking a duplex
Is there a minimal amount of time in North Carolina you must stay in the property if you do a owner occupied loan on a duplex/multifamily property? For instance can I get into the property and move out a year later or do I have to stay in the property for a minimum of 3 years? Is there a penalty for moving out early?
