How many mortgages can you carry? If our goal is to leverage our money will a bank eventually say you have too many? If so, how many is too many?

@Jeremy Teppig  Agreed, as many as your can qualify for.  10 through conventional lending, more through portfolio lenders, and even more through owner financed deals.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac set a limit of 10 mortgage properties to one person.

If you can find a portfolio lender, they have different rules and may give you more than 10.
