Rental Property locations (Outside of New York)
I'm looking to invest in a rental propert, anywhere from 1-4 units. Location is my issue. I currently own a single family home worth about $500K, and just putting down the 20% and the closing costs along costed me $100K+. I am reading several of these posts about people who are investing with $20-30K, which is nearly impossible on Long Island and around NYC. Was just wondering if anyone had some insights on where would be locations to look? Would be willing to travel to keep tabs on the property.
