HELOC on primary residence

Hello everyone, 


I'm in the process of looking to get a HELOC on my primary residence. If I do get one, but then I decide to move out within the next couple months after and turn in into a rental...can the bank call the HELOC ?

Has anyone ever been in that situation before ?  Would love some feedback ! Thanks 

Also, if I can't make it work like this, I'll just wait and get a HELOC after I turn it into a rental. I found two banks close to me that supposedly can do HELOC's on rental properties. I'm just trying to get it as soon as possible.
