Lender for the self employed

Hell all,

I'm looking for a connection to some lenders that can work with my situation. I have great W2 income, great credit and no debt. However I have own an investment backed start up (LLC) that has taken a loss the last couple years. Because of this I have been turned down by a couple lenders despite the fact that I'm not personally liable for the losses. If anyone has any advise or could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!

Thanks,

Eric

Hi @Eric Healy just like @Denise Brown-Puryear there are alternatives out there which have no personal income requirements at all for rentals. A lot of my clients utilize commercial, DSCR based products that qualify based on the subject property's cash flow rather than your personal DTI. These allow LLC vesting if you want, have no limit on the number of financed properties you own, and 30 year fixed rates are the in the 5%/6% range.
