Doing a quit claim without a lawyer

We want to transfer our assets into an LLC. The forums seem to suggest that one could do a quit claim with a lawyer, or something like LegalZoom.

But I wanted to see whether this something I could do by myself. The reason is that I want to learn more of the sausage making myself.

I am in Washington State.
