Trying to buy a small parcel of property. The owner is deceased and lived in Georgia. The property he willed to his daughter is in Illinois. His estate was probated in Georgia but the daughter never probated the small parcel in Illinois.  Anyone know what she needs to do in order to sell the parcel ? Probate the property thru the Illinois court ? Thanks ?

Hey @Tony Johnson - This definitely sounds like an attorney question.  @Bob Floss II?  Or maybe @Mark Ainley has experience with probate.

I can really help at all but following this post to see what the outcome is.  If you don't get an answer here please share what you figure out.

I'm up here in Chicago, Illinois and I know the probate situation is not something easy to go through.
