EIN and LLC

Hello,

My brother and I bought a duplex in November 2021 and we are equal partners. We applied for LLC on 2/3/23. When I had an appointment with tax accountant, he wants me to apply for EIN dating 1/1/22 so we can file 1065 for tax year 2022
Can we backdate EIN prior to forming LLC?
