Help with solving a cloudy title problem
I'm a real estate broker in KY. I've got a property listed that the sale fell through when a title search showed a mistake in recording a past deed in the chain of ownership. This same house sold for cash and was occupied by the owner before he died. Can someone pay cash and take possession without doing a title search. Is this wise?
